Applicability: The one-component, heat-proof and acid-proof Rudomal KV cement is designed for installing and gluing ceramic chimney blocks and acid-proof chamotte bricks in chimney systems.

Preparation: Mix the cement with clean potable water at a ratio of 13-14 l / 100 kg, i.e. about 0.4 l / 3 kg (a bucket). Stir intensively to obtain a wet and brittle mass. Wait 5 minutes and stir again firmly until a homogeneous cement is received. Do not use bound and set cement. The cement may be used within 90 minutes at the temperature of 20°C, at higher temperatures the applicability time decreases so only the necessary amount of cement should be prepared. At lower temperatures the cement sets more slowly. To prevent this a warm water (temp. of 40-50°C) shall be added. Do not use the cement at a temperature lower than 5°C.

Application: The cement should be applied onto a dry and clean background, the ambient temperature shall be within 5 to 25°C. The cement sets in a 24-hour time at 20°C. At lower temperatures setting may last up to 48 hours. It may be exposed to thermal loads after at least 48 hours but it is recommended to wait 5-10 days until the material sets completely.

Storage: The cement shall be stored in dry rooms in tightly closed containers or bags with a PE insert.

Safety at work: While handling the cement the Health & Safety regulations shall be followed. It is necessary to minimize the time when skin and mucosa are exposed to a direct contact with the cement. Use personal protection measures. In case of serious injury contact the doctor.

First aid: In case of inhaling the dust go outside to breathe fresh air, rinse you mouth and wipe your nose. If the cement contacted your skin wash the exposed place with warm water and soap, apply a regeneration cream. If the cement gets into your eyes, rinse your eyes and the areas around with lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes, then call a doctor. In case of consuming the cement, rinse your lips, drink a few glasses of water or milk, then call a doctor and show him this instruction.
