Construction works - the cement as delivered is ready for direct application. The application rules are the same as in case of a standard cement for chamotte bricks. The key principle is to make the mortar layer as thin as possible – the optimum thickness is about 3mm. The joint will be durable when it dries.
Gluing - this type of cement may be applied to refractory boards, refractory insulation boards and mats laid on a ceramic or metal background. Before applying the cement the metal background has to be free of corrosion and dirt and coated (painted) with a mixture of water and cement (proportion 1:1). Let the surface dry before applying the cement. This cement may be effectively used as a protection of metal parts operating at high temperatures. The Rudokit cement is also used as a substitute of a refractory cement used to erect fire-resistant walls, chimneys, kilns and furnaces, etc.Thermal resistance of the cement is 1350°C.
Prior to use the cement has to be thoroughly stirred – once the work is completed wash the stir or other tools in water.
The warranty (if in a hermetic bag, free from damage) is for 24 months from the manufacturing date. It is recommended that when only a part of the cement is used, the cement surface should be levelled and a thin layer of water pour into the container (the vase), which should be then closed tightly (hermetically).
Safety - It is recommended to use protective gloves and glasses while handling the cement.
First aid - In case of irritation to eyes rinse it with water and call medical assistance. - if ingested, wash your lips with water immediately, drink about 0.5l of cold water and induce vomiting - in case of skin irritation rinse the exposed places with water immediately.
NOTE: includes water-glass, which may irritate skin, eyes, mucosa. In case of serious danger to health call medical assistance.
